When you try on a dress, check the fit while standing and seated. Can you breathe through the ceremony? Does the neckline stay where it should? Do you still like the shape without heels? A good petite design makes the styling choices feel like choices, not corrections.
Let the ceremony feel like yours
Ivory lace can be unmistakably bridal with a small veil, heirloom earrings, and a satin kitten heel. For a cooler morning, add a tailored coat that leaves the waist visible when you take it off. Or keep the jewelry spare and wear a flat you can walk in all day. A city hall look gains its character from these personal decisions, not from a required amount of volume.
